Weekend Manager Pre-Interview Questionnaire

We are seeking a self-motivated, responsible weekend manager for our dog and cat boarding facility and grooming salon. Animal health and well-being is our top priority.

Responsibilities:
• Overseeing staff to ensure duties are being completed thoroughly.
• Communicating effectively with clients and other team members
• All receptionist duties (checking guests in/out, scheduling appointments, answering phones, etc.)
• Administer medicines, sometimes including pilling an animal
• Assisting in kennel duties (walking dogs, feeding, cleaning runs, etc.)
• Providing tours to prospective clients
• Daily housekeeping (laundry, dishes, sweeping, mopping, etc.)
• Cleaning up urine and feces, maintaining cleanliness of boarding areas
• Transport animals to their vet as necessary
• Any duties that may be assigned by management

Qualifications
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be comfortable handling all breeds and sizes of cats and dogs
• Must be able to handle using disinfectants and cleaning up urine and feces
• Must be comfortable working in all outdoor conditions
• Must work well with people and animals
• Must keep a positive attitude when communicating with clients at all times
• Must have keen observation skills to notice an animal in discomfort
• Must be able to lift heavy objects in excessive of 40 pounds

Previous animal care experience is preferred but not required. Must be available a minimum of 2 weekends a month and all holidays (half day shift). Full or part time position based on weekday availability. Wage based on experience and qualifications.
